This website is to chronicle the Florida "girls trip" of a group of friends that have named themselves the Pink Hat Martini Mamas. They are all wives, mothers and grandmothers. They enjoy their friendship, family, shopping, the beach and flavored martinis.
The core group consists of ladies from Houston that have been friends for 25 to 30 years. They have played tennis and skied together, raised their children, reveled in the joys of becoming grandmothers and helped each other weather the storms of relationships and families.
One of these ladies has 2 sisters that have also been added to the group. 1 sister is from San Antonio and the other is the only non-Texan from Oklahoma City.
The annual trip is to a beach house owned by one of the lovely ladies. She graciously allows the Mamas to invade her house for one week each spring.
